All you need to know about the best browser in the market, including an installation guide and the optimal configuration to get the most out of Brave.
Overview
I've been using the Brave browser since mid-2018, but it wasn't until they released their ad program that I made the transition from Chrome to Brave.
I feared that making a change will be inconvenient and tough, but my fears were completely pointless. Transitioning to Brave from Chrome is the easiest action one can take today to improve their daily internet use.
Brave has all the benefits of Chrome, plus a few extras.
It has ad-blockers and track-blockers built within the browser, as well as cookie and fingerprinting control, https upgrading and script blocking. In a nutshell, it's the safest browser in the market. Madagascar 2005 dublat in romana torent. And in case you want to be less secure, you have absolute control of the degree of security by configuring its shields.
Brave represents all every privacy advocate wants:
- Their servers don't store your browsing data and don't sell it to third parties
- It actively fights malware, blocks phishing and disables dodgy plugins.
- Brave Sync, in beta at the moment, encrypts and synchronizes your settings and bookmarks across devices.
- It lets you navigate with an embedded version or Tor, in case the Incognito Mode is not enough.
- Oh, and it comes with DuckDuckGo as a default search engine, that's a nice touch.
But the most revolutionary aspect of Brave is its incentivized economy.
By activating Brave Rewards and Brave Ads, users get rewarded BAT (Basic Attention Token) for seeing ads, which frequency can be adjusted. Users can then tip their favorite content creators manually, or set monthly contributions.
Brave and BAT are the most solid blockchain project out there: they have an amazing software, a great use case for their utility token and, last but not least, a philosophy and principles behind it. An expanding community of users and publishers is forming around it.
If all this sounds good, my best advice is this: give it a go.
If you are a Chrome user, after a couple of hours you will forget that you are using a different browser.
We'll see how to install it and configure it to the max below.
